But in order to keep your muscles strong and flexible you really have to work out hard and maintain a strict balance diet. One of the best form of exercise which keeps all women fit is stretching and in particular if we say is by doing leg stretching. Stretching helps you to keep fit, improves the blood circulation all over the body and helps you to have a good sleep which is very important for every individuals in order to make them look younger, healthy and refreshing every day.

Here Are Some Leg Stretching Exercises For Women In Order To Keep Themselves Fit.

C-Curve

One of the simple form of leg stretching exercise. In order to perform this exercise, just sit on your exercise mat with your knees bent and feet on the floor about 10 inches in front of the butt. Put your hands around the knees with your elbows pointing towards the outward direction. Pull your navel in towards the spine and by focusing towards the belly region inhale the fresh air. Hold your breath for 5-10 secs and then exhale out. Repeat the same for 3-5 times daily.

C-Curve

Cobra Stretch

This leg stretching exercise is very effective. It is very helpful for stretching your spinal cord. In order to perform this exercise just lie upside down and by keeping your arm in perpendicular position try to lift your body from the knee by forming an arch, just like cobra when it raises its head. Try to bend your hips and try to make your body an inverted V-shape. Just make sure that your chin is against the chest. Stay in that position for 10-15 secs and return back to the original position. Be very careful with the stretches you are making. Don’t try to stretch your body too much as it might cause muscle cramps.

Jumping Jack

Stand up straight with your feet together and hand by your side. Raise your hands straight up in the air and jump simultaneously in order to spread your legs wide. Without stopping quickly reverse your movement. Repeat the same for 10-20 times. One of simplest form of exercise which you can perform without causing any difficulty.

Arm Cross Over

One of the most simple and effective leg stretching exercise for female. Just lie down on your exercise mat and turn towards the right side by keeping your left leg in perpendicular direction and your right leg straight. Keep both your arm straight in front of you. Staying in this position try to rotate your torso towards the right direction and keep rotating until your left hand and the upper side of your back has completely touched the floor. Stay in this position for 5 secs and then return back to the original position. Switch your side and repeat the entire procedure towards the left side. Repeat the exercise for 4-5 times each for both the position.

Side and Cross over Lunge

Stand up straight by keeping your legs wide open and your both arms in front of you. Spread your right and leg by lowering down to make a side lunge. Then slowly try the cross over lunge by keeping the left leg behind the right leg and keep your left foot to stand. Repeat the same by switching the legs for 4-5 times.
