Start by gently lifting your upper lips. Do this firmly as you apply pressure with your muscles. This pressure will help in tightening chin muscles gradually. Stay in this position and then slowly contract your lower lip as you lower your chin, just as you would tuck it in your throat.
Ensure that you are not bending your neck while you try and tuck your chin. You should be able to accomplish this movement solely with the help of your throat muscles and not the muscles located at the back of your neck. Hold this position for many seconds. Repeat this at least 10 times for effective results.
Tongue Strength Exercise
One good exercise which helps in improving your tongue strength and keeps food where it should be when you have it inside your mouth. Try and attempt to reach your nose with your tongue and stretch as much as you can.
