The US Army Cadet Corps is a training camp that runs for 16 days. It is also referred to as BCT – Basic Cadet Training. Though teenagers are giving a priority, children below the age of 13 can also get entry.
The upper limit, however, is 17 years only.
It is important that the kids coming to the camp should be willing to be a part of the camp on their own. The camp focuses on physic building and there is a rugged training involved. The children have to go through running the obstacles, surviving in water and many other physical challenges.
The YMCA, located in Florida caters to the teenagers specifically in weightlifting. They have a weightlifting camp that is known as Just Lift It. The duration of the camp is only five days – from June 18 to 22.
The camp specifically targets kids aged between 10 and 15. In this camp, the boys learn the fundamentals of weightlifting.
The camp is for five consecutive days and comes at a cost of $75 for general members. However, the YMCA members get a discount and they can attend the camp for only $60.
Most bodybuilding camps target children in their teens. These are the years when the growth of the children is at their peak.
